“I so appreciated the loving care and concern you all gave my aunt. She was a special person that no everyone fully appreciated prior to her entering The Altenheim. You all gave her the confidence to become her unique self!”
“Thank you for the loving care our mom received while a resident at The Altenheim. We are grateful her last days were so comfortable and peaceful, made possible by the excellent care she received by The Altenheim staff.”
“Thank you for taking such good care of our mom! Although Alzheimer’s took away so much, it never completely took over her spirit, and we knew she was happy there with her “extended family”. It was a joy to know and see that she loved you all and was still able to articulate that!”
“Thank you for the love and care you extended to my mom. When bringing her back after being out to my home she would say “I’m glad to be home”. Those words caused tears in my eyes but joy to my heart that she called The Altenheim “home”. You each gave her a feeling of being a part of The Altenheim and I am forever grateful!”
“Thank you for caring for Dad from your Heart!”
“I want to express my gratitude to all of you for the exceptional care my wife received during her four years with you. I feel we were both blessed when she moved to The Altenheim. It is so gratifying to see senior citizens treated with such love, respect, and patience. Your work will earn you a place in heaven.”
“What a blessing all of you have been these past months and years…I am so thankful my precious Aunt was able to spend her final days in a place she loved…surrounded by those who care for her so lovingly. My family and I talk about how blessed we have been to have discovered The Altenheim. Thank you for the devotion and care you each extend to those who have moved into the winter season of their life…a time when they need you most.”
“After my father’s death, my sister and I realized the only realistic option was for my mother to be located closer to my sister (Louisville). We had no way of knowing or expecting that the move would not only go well but would contribute to improving mother’s quality of life during her final years. Since I live out of the country I talked with mother frequently by phone and I could tell that she was very well cared for, stimulated and secure. During infrequent visits I was always impressed that the staff were so professional, personal and friendly.”
“We can’t begin to thank you enough for the loving care you provided to our mother. We could tell that The Altenheim was a special place before she moved in, but never dreamed that we would be turning her over into the hands of such a compassionate and fun-loving group of caregivers. Your many hugs, kisses, and “I love yous” were contagious and added a sweet tenderness to our last few months with our dear mother.”
“Thank you for the kind and gentle care you offered to my mother. It was comforting to know she was in good hands and all her needs were met. Each staff member treated her as though she were their own mother who they dearly loved. I could not have asked for a better place for her to spend her final days!”
